Lemon Meringue Pie
Lemon Meringue Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. plus 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 1/2 c. water and 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Heat oven to 400Β°.
Bake pie shell.
Mix sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan. Gradually stir in water.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Gradually stir part of the hot mixture into the egg yolks. Blend into hot mixture in pan.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Stir in butter, lemon peel, lemon juice and food coloring.
Pour into baked pie shell.
