Lemon Meringue Pie
Lemon Meringue Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 7 tbsp. cornstarch, dash of salt, 2 tbsp. butter and 1 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir in water.
Bring to boiling over medium heat, cook stirring constantly until thick, 3 to 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in beaten egg yolks.
Cook 1 minute.
Add lemon peel, butter and lemon juice.
Stir until mixed.
Pour in baked pie shell.
Top with meringue.
Bake at 350Β° until brown.
