Jalapeño Jam is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. chopped green pepper, 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 (6 oz.) bottle fruit pectin and several drops green food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Combine peppers and vinegar, half at a time, in blender. Purée until smooth.

Combine purée, sugar, salt and cayenne pepper.

Bring to a boil; cook for 2 minutes.

Remove from heat; add pectin.

Let stand for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add food coloring; mix well.

Pour into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.

Store in refrigerator.

Yields 4 1/2 pint jars.
