Italian Soupa
Italian Soupa is an impressive dinner. Made with 3/4 to 1 lb. hot sausage, sliced in 1/2-inch pieces, 3/4 to 1 lb. mild sausage, sliced in 1/2-inch pieces, 2 green peppers, chopped, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1 3/4 c. cooking wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Saute sausage.
Remove excess drippings and sausage.
Fry green peppers and onion.
Add sausage, wine and broth.
Boil until wine smell is gone (about 15 minutes).
Add seasonings, tomatoes and dry noodles.
Simmer 1 hour.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
Serves 8.
