Italian Beef
Italian Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 5 lb. rump or sirloin roast, 3 to 4 garlic cloves, 1 tbsp. garlic salt, 1 tbsp. oregano and 1/2 tsp. basil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Cut slits in roast, insert garlic cloves.
Combine all other ingredients in Dutch oven pot, add roast and cover.
Bake in oven about 2 hours, cool slightly. Slice thin, then place back in pot and cook 1 to 1 1/2 hours longer.
Serve on Italian bread.
