Indian Pudding
Indian Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. yellow cornmeal, 1/3 c. molasses, 3 c. scalded milk, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
👨🍳 Instructions
Scald the 3 cups of milk; stir in cornmeal and molasses.
Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; add everything but cold milk.
Pour into buttered baking dish.
Bake at 300° for 30 minutes.
Add cold milk; do not stir. Continue baking at 300° for 2 hours.
Serve with whipped cream.
