Sift flour in bowl and cut in shortening.

Heat milk until warm.

Add yeast; stir until dissolved.

Mix 3 eggs slightly.

Add milk and yeast mixture to it, then add it to the flour mixture and work until it comes clean off hands and bowl.

Don't overwork. Add more flour, if needed.

Chill in refrigerator overnight.

Roll on lightly floured board; cut into 2 1/2-inch squares.

Fill with favorite filling (apricot, prune or nut).

Brush with egg and milk mixture.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown in 350Β° oven.

Brush with melted butter.
