Hot Fudge Sauce
Hot Fudge Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. light cream or evaporated milk and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a 1-quart saucepan, mix the cocoa, sugar, corn syrup, cream or milk, salt and butter.
Stir over low heat until mixture comes to a full boil.
Cook 3 minutes, stirring once or twice.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Sauce may be refrigerated in a covered container.
Reheat in microwave or hot water before serving.
Makes 2 1/2 cups.
