Hot Fudge Pudding Cake
Hot Fudge Pudding Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sugar, divided, 1 c. all-purpose flour, 7 tbsp. cocoa, divided, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat oven to 350Β°. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk, melted butter and vanilla; beat until smooth. Pour batter into square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 or 9 x 9 x 2-inches.
In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa; sprinkle mixture evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top; do not stir. Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 minutes; spoon into dessert dishes, spooning sauce from bottom of pan over top. Whipped cream or ice cream are nice toppings.
