Hominy Casserole
Hominy Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans hominy, 2 (4 oz.) cans green chilis, 1/2 stick butter or oleo, 1 (8 oz.) tub sour cream and 2 c. shredded cheese (i use cheddar), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Drain hominy.
Generously butter a 3-quart casserole dish. Layer ingredients as follows: hominy, green chilis, salt and pepper.
Dot with sour cream and butter.
Repeat layer, ending with a layer of hominy.
Dot top with butter and pour the cream over top.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
