Homemade Rolls
Homemade Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. warm water, 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. salt and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add sugar, salt and half of flour.
Beat thoroughly for 2 minutes.
Add egg and shortening.
Mix in remaining flour with fork until dough is easy to handle.
Place greased side up in a greased bowl.
Cover bowl. Place in refrigerator.
Punch down occasionally as dough rises. About 2 hours before needed, cut off amount needed and return rest of dough to refrigerator.
Shape while cold into rolls.
Cover. Let rise until doubled in size (1 1/2 to 2 hours).
