Herbed Roquefort Biscuits
Herbed Roquefort Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. roquefort cheese, crumbled, 2 tbsp. minced green onion tops, 1 tsp. dried whole basil, 1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme and 2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a small bowl; set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl.
Cut in cheese mixture and butter with a pastry blender. Turn dough out onto a floured surface; knead lightly 7 to 8 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.
Place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 450Β° for 13 to 15 minutes.
Yields 14 biscuits.
