Hasty Pudding
Hasty Pudding is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cornmeal, 2 1/2 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. cold water and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Make a paste of the cold water and cornmeal; and stir until there are no lumps.
Then pour gradually into the boiling salted water.
Stir until very thick.
Pour in a double boiler; cover and cook for 2 or 3 hours, stirring frequently.
Serve hot with milk, sugar, butter and salt or as desired.
