Half Moons
Half Moons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. shortening, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. sour milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix first 2 ingredients; beat well.
Add eggs, vanilla and milk; beat well.
Add flour and baking soda, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
Refrigerate overnight.
Roll on floured board; cut to desired size.
Bake at 375Β° on lower oven rack for 5 minutes, then on upper rack for 5 minutes.
