Grits-Sausage Casserole
Grits-Sausage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. water, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. grits (uncooked), 4 c. extra sharp cheese and 2 lb. sausage, cooked and crumbled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Bring salted water to a boil.
Stir in grits.
Reduce heat and cook for 4 minutes.
Add cheese to grits, stirring until cheese is melted.
Combine eggs, milk, thyme and garlic.
Add some of the hot grits to egg mixture, stirring to blend.
Stir egg mixture into remaining grits.
Add cooked sausage.
Pour into a buttered 8 x 12-inch dish.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Remove 20 minutes before baking.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 minutes.
