Grits Au Gratin
Grits Au Gratin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. grits, 4 c. water, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 eggs and 1 1/2 c. sharp cheddar, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Bring salted water to boil; slowly stir in grits.
Cover, reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally until liquid is absorbed, according to package instructions.
Remove from heat.
Whisk eggs slightly; then stir in small amount of grits to warm them.
Beat egg mixture into grits.
Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Pour grits mixture into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
Serves 6.
