Beat eggs.
Add oil and milk.
Sift flour and salt; add to milk mixture.
Beat until smooth.
Dip sliced green tomatoes into batter; drain off excess.
Fry in hot oil (375Β°) to depth of about 1 inch in skillet for about 4 minutes.
This makes about 1 cup batter and is good also to use for frying sliced squash or eggplant.
