Green Beans in Sour Cream
Green Beans In Sour Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. fresh green beans, 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 tbsp. minced fresh parsley, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted and 1 (8 oz.) carton commercial sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Wash beans and remove strings.
Cut green beans into 1-inch pieces.
Cook in a small amount of boiling water for 6 minutes or until tender.
Drain; transfer beans to a 2-quart casserole.
Set aside.
Saute onion and parsley in butter 2 minutes or until onion is tender.
Stir in sour cream, lemon rind, salt and pepper. Spoon sour cream mixture over beans.
Sprinkle bread crumbs over sour cream mixture.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
