Green Bean Casserole
Green Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen french-style green beans, 1/2 c. margarine, 1/2 c. flour, 1 c. creamer and 5 oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cook beans until done, reducing time slightly; drain well, reserving 2 cups water.
Set green beans aside.
Melt butter; blend in flour.
Add creamer; gradually add reserved hot water and stir to blend.
Cook over medium heat (stir so as not to stick), until mixture bubbles and thickens.
Stir in seasonings and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
Add cooked beans and water chestnuts, mixing well.
Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake at 325Β° for 25 to 30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
Garnish with onion rings or chow mein noodles.
