Grandma Sally's Sugar Cookies
Grandma Sally'S Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. real butter, 2 eggs, 1 c. sour cream and 1 tsp. salt (scant), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream sugar, butter and eggs.
Stir in sour cream, then add dry ingredients that have been premixed and the vanilla.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Roll out a small amount at a time on a floured board to which some sugar has also been added.
Sprinkle top of dough with sugar also as roll out.
Cut out with 3-inch round open cookie cutter.
Keep dough cold.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until very slightly browned.
Cool on racks covered with waxed paper.
Store in airtight containers with waxed paper between layers.
Freezes well.
Makes 5 dozen.
