Grandma's Frozen Fruit Salad
Grandma'S Frozen Fruit Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (no. 3) can white cherries, pitted, 1 (no. 3) can pineapple chunks, 1/2 lb. miniature marshmallows, 2 whole eggs and 1/3 c. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Drain fruit.
Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup water.
Mix eggs, sugar and flour in saucepan.
Bring juices to boil and pour over egg mixture.
Add softened gelatin and marshmallows.
Cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until thick.
Add fruit and whipped cream and mix well.
Pecans may be added.
Freeze overnight.
Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
Serves 12.
