Glazed Rutabagas
Glazed Rutabagas is an easy dinner. Made with 2 medium rutabagas (about 2 lb.), 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 2 tbsp. packed brown sugar, 1 tsp. water and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Wash rutabaga and pare thinly.
Cut into 1/2-inch cubes.
Heat butter in a 10-inch skillet until melted.
Add rutabagas.
Cook, uncovered, over medium heat, stirring frequently until light brown on all sides, about 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with brown sugar, water and salt.
Cover and simmer over low heat stirring occasionally until tender, about 20 minutes.
