German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 14 medium red potatoes, 3/4 c. cider vinegar, 1/2 c. water, 1 tsp. celery seed and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cook potatoes with skins on until tender.
Cut bacon into small pieces; fry until crisp and drain off grease.
Use 3/4 cup bacon fat.
Add vinegar, sugar and water; bring to a boil.
Peel potatoes and slice thin.
Put in greased bowl.
Add bacon, onion and seasonings.
Pour hot liquid over potatoes; toss until mixed. Refrigerate overnight.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.
