German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 18 small potatoes, 3 slices bacon, cut in cubes, 1 round tbsp. flour, 1 tbsp. butter and 1/4 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cook potatoes until soft.
Peel and slice.
Add sliced onion (optional).
Fry bacon until crispy.
Remove from pan.
To the bacon fat, add the butter and flour.
Stir and add vinegar, water, sugar, salt and pepper.
Let come to a boil and pour over potatoes.
Sprinkle bacon cubes on top of salad.
Serves 4 to 6.
