German Chocolate Cake
German Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 4 oz pkg bakers german sweet chocolate, 1 c butter, 4 egg yolks, unbeaten, 2 1/2 c cake or unbleached flour and 1 t baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Melt chocolate in water and cool.
Cream together butter and sugar, add yolks one at a time, add chocolate and vanilla.
Blend well.
Sift together flour, salt and soda.
Add to batter alternately with buttermilk, adding dry ingredients last.
Beat well and fold in whites.
Pour into three greased and floured cake pans, bake at 350 F for 35-40 minutes.
