German Apple Cake
German Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. unsalted butter, melted, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. flour and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Preheat oven to 305Β°.
Grease an 8 x 8-inch square pan. Combine butter, sugar and eggs in large bowl and beat thoroughly. Add flour, baking powder and vanilla and beat until well blended. Spread evenly in pan.
Combine sugar and cinnamon.
Peel and core apples and thinly slice into large bowl.
Add sugar-cinnamon mixture to taste, coating apples thoroughly.
Arrange slices on top of batter in overlapping rows, pressing lightly into batter. Bake 1 hour.
Cool and cut into squares.
