Fudge
Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. cocoa, 3 c. sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 c. milk and 1/4 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine dry ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
Stir in milk; bring to a boil (bubbly), boiling over medium heat, stirring, until soft ball stage or reaches 230°.
Remove from fire and add butter and vanilla.
Do not stir.
Cool at room temperature or 110°.
Beat until thickens and loses gloss.
Spread in lightly buttered pan.
Let cool.
Cut and serve.
