Fried Chicken
Fried Chicken is an easy dinner. Made with 1 medium fryer, cut up, 3 to 4 c. vegetable oil, salt and pepper, 1 tbsp. paprika and 1 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Put oil in a large skillet, preferably cast-iron.
Heat on medium to high heat.
Salt chicken slightly.
In a medium size brown paper bag, put flour, a little salt and paprika.
Shake well. Put in 4 or 5 pieces of chicken and shake to coat well.
Test oil by dropping in a pinch of flour.
If it sizzles, put in the chicken.
Fry until light brown on bottom side.
Turn and continue frying until color is uniform, about 15 minutes per side.
Remove to paper towels and drain oil.
Serve hot or cold.
