French Oven Toast
French Oven Toast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, beaten, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 c. milk and 1/2 tsp. almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine beaten eggs, salt, sugar, milk and almond extract. Dip sliced bread into mixture.
Place slices on well-greased cookie sheet and brown in extremely hot oven at 500Β°.
Turn toast after 10 minutes and brown on other side.
Serve with honey butter or maple syrup.
Makes 6 servings, 2 slices per serving.
