French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter, 2 c. onions, sliced really thin, 4 c. beef broth (bouillon is great), 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce and 6 slices toasted, thick sliced bread, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Using large pan, saute onions in butter until golden brown and tender.
Add beef stock, Worcestershire sauce and a dash of pepper.
Bring to boil and reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Put into blender or mixer and beat until smooth. Place bread in bottom of bowl.
Pour heated cheese mixture over bread.
Serve hot and garnish with chopped green onions.
