French Onion Soup

Made with 1 1/2 lb (3 large) onions, thinly sliced, 1/4 cup butter or margarine, 3 10 1/2 oz cans condensed beef broth, 1 tsp worcestershire sauce and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook onions in butter till lightly browned, about 20 minutes. Add broth and worcestershire.
Bring to boiling.
Season with salt and pepper.
