Fondue
Fondue is an easy dinner. Made with equal amounts of: muenster cheese, swiss cheese and sharp cheddar cheese (approximately 1 lb. each) and 2 loaves italian bread, cubed (any hard bread will do), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cube the bread and set aside, covered.
Melt cheeses in a double boiler on top of stove.
(A fondue pot may be used, but is not necessary.)
When the cheeses are melted, serve immediately with the bread cubes.
Fondue or regular forks are needed as each "eater" dips into the same pot.
You may have to reheat the cheeses, as they cool quickly.
Stirring will keep cheeses from sticking to the pan.
