Fish Stroganoff
Fish Stroganoff is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 34 minutes. Made with . skinless fish fillets, about 1/2 c. flour, . salt, . pepper and strips bacon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cut fish in bite-size pieces.
Mix flour, salt and pepper. Coat each piece.
In large frying pan, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from pan and reserve.
Cook onion and fish in bacon fat over medium heat until lightly browned.
Reduce heat and mix in tomato juice, mustard, parsley and garlic powder.
Simmer until sauce thickens slightly, 5 to 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
Serve over hot cooked rice or toast points. Crumble bacon and put on top of each serving.
Serves 6.
