Festive Baked Ham
Festive Baked Ham is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. apple cider, 1/2 c. water, 1 (5 lb.) cook before eating ham half, 12 whole cloves and 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine apple cider and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Set aside.
Remove skin from ham.
Place ham, fat side up, on a cutting board.
Score fat in a diamond design and stud with cloves.
Place ham in a shallow baking pan, fat side up; coat top with brown sugar.
Insert meat thermometer, making sure it does not touch fat or bone.
