Favorite Rice Casserole
Favorite Rice Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tbsp. margarine, 1 c. chopped onion, 4 c. freshly cooked rice (not instant), 2 c. sour cream and 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt butter in large skillet.
Saute onion until golden. Remove from heat; stir in hot rice, sour cream, cottage cheese, bay leaf, salt and pepper; toss lightly to mix well.
In a greased 8 x 12-inch baking dish, layer half the rice mixture, then half the chilies, then sprinkle with half the cheese.
Repeat.
Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes, or until bubbly and hot.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
