Family Peanut Pound Cake
Family Peanut Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. cake flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 lb. and 2 tbsp. butter and 2 1/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Flour, baking powder and salt together twice. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
To the butter mixture vanilla and butternut flavoring and then the eggs one at a time.
Beat well after each addition.
Then mixing well as you go, add in the flour mixture.
Chop the peanuts and heat in a 200° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Alternately fold the peanuts and milk into the other mixed ingredients. Spoon a floured and greased 10-inch tube pan and bake moderate oven
(325°) for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes on a rack and then remove from pan.
Frost with Peanut Butter Frosting.
