Ever Crisp Sweet Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 lb. cucumbers (1/2-inch slices), 2 c. lime, 2 gal. water, 1 tbsp. salt and 1 tsp. celery seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Place cucumbers in stone jar and cover with water-lime solution.
Let soak 24 hours, stirring often with a wooden spoon. Rinse well 3 times with cold water.
Cover with cold water and let soak 3 hours.
Drain and cover with vinegar, sugar, salt and spices.
Let soak overnight.
In the morning, boil entire mixture 35 minutes.
