Escalloped Oysters
Escalloped Oysters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. cracker crumbs, 1 can oysters, lifted out of liquid in can (save liquid), minced parsley to taste, chopped celery to taste and salt and pepper (dash), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Grease a 2-quart baking dish.
Into dish, layer oysters, parsley and celery twice.
Top with salt, pepper and dots of the butter.
Top all with cracker crumbs.
Pour oyster liquid from can over all.
Punch holes in mixture and pour a little milk into each hole.
(Just pour enough milk to get the whole mixture moist.)
Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
