English Muffins In A Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 1/2 to 6 c. flour, 2 pkg. yeast, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda. Heat liquids until very warm.
Add to dry mixture and beat well. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a stiff batter.
Spoon into two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch pans that have been greased and sprinkled with cornmeal.
Sprinkle top of batter with cornmeal.
Cover, let rise in warm place for 45 to 60 minutes.
Bake at 400Β° for 25 minutes.
Turn out of pans while bread is still warm.
