Enchilada Casserole
Enchilada Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. whole green chili, 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, 2 cloves garlic, salt to taste and 1 large can whole tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Brown ground beef.
Drain fat and set aside.
Blend together chili and tomatoes.
Chop up garlic.
Add flour to ground beef; blend in garlic.
Add water to desired thickness, then gradually add in chili, tomatoes and salt to taste.
Allow to simmer 10 to 20 minutes or to desired thickness and enjoy!!
Spread in layer form over prefried tortillas, layer of cheese and onions and chili.
Followed by 1 to 1 1/2 ladles of chili sauce.
Place total dish into oven 10 to 15 minutes.
Bake at 300Β°.
