Eggplant Parmesan

Simmer eggplant in pan of boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Drain.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Layer ingredients in 1 1/2-quart casserole as follows
1/2 of tomatoes, eggplant, bread crumbs, seasonings, tomato sauce and cheeses.
Repeat layers.
Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
