Easy Hot Rolls
Easy Hot Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. warm water, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 egg, well beaten, 5 to 6 c. flour (i use w.r. flour) and 2 pkg. yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add well beaten egg, sugar, salt and oil.
Mix well.
Add flour gradually, mixing well.
Pour out on a floured board.
Knead well.
Put into large bowl with a small amount of oil, greasing both sides of the batter.
Let rise until double.
Punch down.
Make into rolls.
Let rise again until double in size.
Bake in a 425Β° oven.
When rolls begin to brown, butter tops of rolls and return to oven until well brown.
