Easy Apricot Strudel
Easy Apricot Strudel is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 c. dairy sour cream, 1 c. margarine or butter, 2 c. apricot preserves and 1 c. shredded coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine flour, cream and butter in mixing bowl. Blend well, cover; least 1 hour.
Roll out chilled dough, one fourth at a time to a 13 x 6-inch rectangle on well floured surface.
Spread cup preserves along one 13-inch side to the width
1/2-inches.
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup coconut and
2 tablespoons nuts.
Starting with 13-inch side, roll up jelly roll fashion.
Seal edges and ends.
Place seam side down on ungreased cookie sheet.
Method for remaining fourths of chilled dough.
Bake at 450Β° for 18 to 20 minutes.
Cool, sprinkle powdered sugar.
Into slices.
Makes about 48 slices. Can be frozen before baking. Remove from freezer, defrost and bake as directed.
