Earthquake Cake
Earthquake Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 chocolate cake mix, 3/4 c. coconut, 1 c. chopped nuts, 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese and 2 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Spread coconut on bottom of a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. (A foil pan works good because the depth of a smaller pan causes cake to run over.)
Add nuts on top of coconut, then pour cake mix over that. Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, oleo and milk together. Drizzle over the cake mixture. Bake in a 350Β° oven for 30 minutes or until top springs back.
