Dutch Fritters
Dutch Fritters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. scalded milk, 1 1/2 tbsp. salt, 2 pkg. yeast, 6 beaten eggs and 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Dissolve sugar and salt in scalded milk.
Use a large 1 1/2 gallon margarine.
Separate bowl, mix yeast and warm water. Add yeast mixture and eggs to milk.
Mix with a wire mixer.
Add flour until dough is still soft enough to spoon into but not too runny.
Let raise until doubled in size.
Into hot oil, about 370Β°.
Ladle out of hot oil when evenly browned onto old paper bags or paper towels.
Roll in granulated or powdered sugar.
