Dutch Cheese Wafers
Dutch Cheese Wafers is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. all-purpose flour and 1/2 c. finely chopped dried apricots, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cream the butter and cream cheese in medium mixing bowl. Gradually add sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
Stir in flour and apricots; mix well.
Shape dough into a roll 1 inch in diameter.
Wrap in waxed paper; chill at least 3 hours, or until firm.
Cut into 1/4-inch slices; place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
