Daddy Lutz's Oyster Dressing
Daddy Lutz'S Oyster Dressing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 loaf stale risings french bread, 1 qt. oysters in their juice, 4 large onions, chopped fine, 1 small stalk celery, chopped fine and 2 bunches shallots, chopped fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In black skillet fry onions in a little oil.
In bowl mix other seasonings, chopped oysters and juice, crumbled French bread, eggs, salt and pepper.
Fry in a little oil skilletfuls of this mixture until it becomes dry.
Put broth and all of the fried down oysters and seasonings, baked giblets and neck in a shallow baking pan.
Bake until thick gravy consistency.
