Cucumber Pickles
Cucumber Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with small cucumbers (3 1/2 inches or less), 1 c. coarse salt, 1/2 gal. water, 1 qt. cider vinegar and 1 qt. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soak cucumbers in brine (salt and 1/2 gallon water) overnight. Drain and drop in boiling cider vinegar, 1 quart water, pickling spices and sugar.
When cucumbers turn bright green, pack in cans. Cover with hot liquid and seal.
