Crunchy Peanut Butter Cookies
Crunchy Peanut Butter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream shortening, sugar, brown sugar and peanut butter in bowl until light and fluffy.
Add egg; mix well.
Stir in mixture of flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Chill, covered, for several hours.
Roll into large balls.
Place 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in additional flour.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes or until set, but not hard.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
