Cream Wafers
Cream Wafers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1/3 c. whipping cream, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 egg yolk and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix butter, cream and flour thoroughly. Chill 1 hour. Roll dough 1/8-inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut into 1 1/2-inch rounds. Transfer to waxed paper heavily sprinkled with sugar. Coat both sides.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Prick with fork in 4 places.
Bake 7 to 9 minutes at 375Β° until slightly puffed. Using filling, put 2 together.
